Redeemer Christian School was established and registered in the State of Michigan in 2021 as a K-12 school. Our current grades are K-8th. A program called Redeemer Ready is offered for children of pre-school age to prepare them for attending school the following year. We are committed to the foundational Biblical and Reformed principles as established in the Reformation of the 16th Century. These help guide the school in its maintenance of our culture and outcomes.

We continue to develop in our academics and culture. As we run the race set before us (Hebrews 12:1), the three pillars of Redemption, Christlikeness, and Service have become established as foundations for fulfilling our mission, which is “To glorify the God of our salvation by preparing students to live as God’s covenant children in the world and equipping them to love and serve their God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength”.

Redeemer Christian School stands firm on the Bible as the infallibly inspired, written Word of God, the doctrine of which is contained in the three forms of Unity. The Belgic Confession, The Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dordt. This forms the basis for administration and instruction in our school. A comforting truth that is emphasized is that our sovereign, Triune Covenant God has from eternity chosen, redeemed, and in time, forms a people unto Himself. They stand in covenant relation to Him and live in fellowship and loving service for Him in all spheres of life, in the midst of a sinful world.

The students are instructed on a path of confessing and living an antithetical life. The Bible clearly teaches us of the antithesis in John 8:23, John 15:19, and Romans 12:2.

The students, as Reformed Christians, are instructed to live fruitful lives in this fallen world and fulfill our role in society. However, we are not to be governed by the world’s values and systems, but rather be encouraged in our walk by heavenly promises, treasures and spiritual truths. This leads us to live a distinctly holy life of humble gratitude, realizing that we are recipients of God’s grace and mercy. Redeemer Christian School is registered with the State of Michigan as a school with classes from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. Currently, we offer classes for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.
